Dear Patriot,
Keep praying.
Every single newsletter, for months now, we have asked you to pray for divine intervention in matters large and small.
That President Trump is still on this earth can not be explained other than an act of divine intervention.
There is no clearer evidence of God than to see President Trump tilt his head at just the right moment. Or that the wind picked up just enough.
We beseech you to continue to pray for President Trump’s safety and the better future for America. It is ONLY by the grace of God that we will right the ship. We ask for His help.
Today, we share a wealth of information and insight. It is difficult to take it all in and keep up. For the moment we veer away from the finger pointing and the unknown and highly speculative, to concentrate on deeper implications.
Stay with us this week as we weed through the lies and noise so that the truth can flourish.
1- THAT photo. It will live within the collective American heart and soul for decades to come. Acts of courage are seldom captured so magnificently.
We are in awe at the temerity of Trump. To have witnessed him rise up and shrug off those holding him down, literally and figuratively, is a sight we may never see again in our lives.
Trump’s Courage Rises Above the Fray
QUOTE: The media’s rhetoric and the administration’s security negligence may have caused the moment, but Trump carried it.
An assassin can kill a president, but cowardice is what kills a movement. President Donald Trump didn’t give his would-be murderer what the gunman wanted. Trump survived the shots, then he did something profound—he waved back the Secret Service agents shielding him, freeing his bloodied face up from the scrum, and, with a look of defiance, raised his fist and said, “Fight!”
He shouldn’t have done it, according to the rules of presidential security. And the Secret Service were obviously torn between the urgency of covering the former president and getting him to safety, and allowing him to do what he was determined to do. They parted just far enough for Trump to show his face and pump his fist. His life and theirs were at risk.
But the risk had to be taken. The United States can’t be led by a coward or by someone who looks like one under fire. Trump knew in a split second what a leader had to do in that situation. He had to show courage. Morale is a nation’s blood. Trump refused to let the assassin shed it, even as his own wounds bled.
The assassin’s bullets took the life of at least one member of the audience before the murderer himself was put down. Leaders across the political spectrum wasted no time in denouncing the political violence. News of the shooting broke minutes before 6:30 p.m. EDT. At 6:46 p.m., Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose independent bid for the White House this year poses complications for Trump and President Joe Biden alike, called for peace and prayer for Trump. At 7:01 p.m., Bernie Sanders made a similar statement on X, formerly Twitter. Further statements followed from Liz Cheney at 7:18 p.m. and former president George W. Bush at 7:22.
The exception to this rapid response was President Biden, who put out an anodyne comment at 7:58 p.m. He then gave a press conference in which he declined to say whether this was an attempted assassination.
“I don’t know enough to—I have an opinion, but I don’t have any facts,” the president stammered.
No excuse is acceptable here: this was not a leader cautiously awaiting the facts before making a claim. Biden may not have had much information to provide the public, but nothing prevented him from speaking up to express sympathy more than an hour earlier. The president was not in command of the situation. At a time when the country needed reassurance from figures of authority—and when Biden himself must reassure his party that he’s capable of serving as its nominee—the president was conspicuous only by his absence. He might as well have been off reading My Pet Goat.
Critics of the mainstream media argue that it bears responsibility for the attempt on Trump’s life, with the New Republic’s recent cover depicting Trump as Hitler a damning example of extreme media framing that could inspire political violence. The inflammatory rhetoric of Democrats and liberals outside of politics and the media is also being examined in a new light. When Biden says it’s time to put a “bull’s eye” on Trump, what might that mean to a disturbed individual who believes the apocalyptic hype he reads in the Atlantic or the New Republic? But conservatives and other critics of liberal media and the Democrats should not adopt their enemies’ arguments, unless they believe that right-wing media are responsible for murders committed by right-wing extremists. Ordinary people who read the New Republic or watch Fox News don’t go on killing sprees, and it’s stupid to imagine that the kind of person who does shoot at presidential candidates gets his primary motivation from magazine covers or from anyone’s use of “bull’s eye” as a metaphor.
America, however, has a long history of left-wing bloodshed, which continues to this day in the form of Antifa activism. While crying wolf about Trump, the media and partisan Democrats encouraged complacency about violence against Trump and Trump supporters, like those murdered in Saturday’s attack.
Complacency or outright negligence on the part of the Biden administration continues to put lives in danger from political violence. Democrats contemplated removing Trump’s Secret Service protection after his convictions in New York, and the Biden administration has been stinting in the security it provides to the president’s rivals. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had no Secret Service protection at all on the day Trump was almost killed. Biden’s rhetoric is bad enough, though short of inciting murder. His actions are worse, and may yet cost an opponent his life. Trump lives and is unbowed, but blood has already been spilled as a predictable result of deficient leadership.
2- A lovely and uplifting message from our most beautiful First Lady.
"We all want a world where respect is paramount, family is first, and love transcends. We can realize this world again. Each of us must demand to get it back. We must insist that respect fills the cornerstone of our relationships, again."
"The winds of change have arrived.”
Melania Trump: 'Let Us Reunite'
"I am thinking of you now, my fellow Americans.
We have always been a unique union. America, the fabric of our gentle union is tattered, but our courage and common sense must ascend and bring us back together as one.
When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron's life, were on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband.
To the families of the innocent victims who are now suffering from this heinous act, I humbly offer my sincerest sympathy. Your need to summon your inner strength for such a terrible reason saddens me.
A monster who recognized my husband as an inhumane political machine attempted to ring out Donald's passion — his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration. The core facets of my husband's life — his human side — were buried below the political machine. Donald, the generous and caring man who I have been with through the best of times and the worst of times.
Let us not forget that differing opinions, policy, and political games are inferior to love. Our personal, structural, and life commitment — until death — is at serious risk. Political concepts are simple when compared to us, human beings.
We are all humans, and fundamentally, instinctively, we want to help one another. American politics are only one vehicle that can uplift our communities. Love, compassion, kindness and empathy are necessities.
And let us remember that when the time comes to look beyond the left and the right, beyond the red and the blue, we all come from families with the passion to fight for a better life together, while we are here, in this earthly realm.
Dawn is here again. Let us reunite. Now.
This morning, ascend above the hate, the vitriol, and the simple-minded ideas that ignite violence. We all want a world where respect is paramount, family is first, and love transcends. We can realize this world again. Each of us must demand to get it back. We must insist that respect fills the cornerstone of our relationships, again.
I am thinking of you, my fellow Americans.
The winds of change have arrived. For those of you who cry in support, I thank you. I commend those of you who have reached out beyond the political divide — thank you for remembering that every single politician is a man or a woman with a loving family.”
3- Corey Comperatore was a warrior and a hero. He was murdered at the Trump rally but only after protecting and saving his wife and his daughter.
Corey Comperatore Identified as Victim Killed by Shooter Who Tried to Assassinate Trump
QUOTE: A former Pennsylvania fire chief, Corey Comperatore, was reportedly shot and killed when a gunman attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump during a rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
Comperatore’s sister, Dawn Comperatore Schafer, wrote in a post shared to Facebook that her brother died as he shielded his daughter as the shooter fired on Trump. “The hatred for one man took the life of the one man we loved the most. He was a hero that shielded his daughters,” she wrote, the New York Post confirmed. “His wife and girls just lived through the unthinkable and unimaginable,” she said.
The Post further reports: Comperatore’s daughter, Allyson, called her father “the best dad a girl could ever ask for,” as she mourned his sudden death.
Allyson said that when the gunshots rang out, Comperatore quickly threw her and her mother to the ground to try to protect them after Trump was shot.
“He truly loved us enough to take a real bullet for us,” Allyson wrote on Facebook.
4- When we need a healthy dose of critical thinking we often turn to John Droz.
As Rush often instructed his listeners, “Words MEAN things."
The Attempted Assassination
QUOTE: This is a good time for some critical thinking reflection.
Sometimes it takes a shock to jar us out of our rut… Things are happening quickly, but based on Saturday’s event, here are some takeaways that initially come to mind…
1 - Words matter.
The mainstream media has abandoned their raison d'être: to be an objective, independent source of information to keep citizens informed about societal matters. In that scenario, better-educated citizens would join together to take action to support improved living conditions — e.g., by voting for responsible representatives.
Instead, the mainstream media has determined that citizens are incompetent and/or could care less, so they have appointed themselves as the judge and jury as to what needs to be done to improve society. Of course, they never fully disclose their agendas, as that would expose the reality that they are bluff bidding on a bust hand.
That they continually attack an individual like Trump, is now just an everyday matter. That they dishonestly portray him in numerous ways (e.g., Hitler), is so commonplace that we think little of it. “Existential threat” rhetoric is not only false, but specifically intended to inflame… We should not lose sight of the fact that words do matter.
2 - Economic collapse.
Financial markets do not like bad news. However, what is much worse is uncertainty. Having a Presidential candidate killed would immediately immerse financial markets into unprecedented uncertainty — which would have profoundly negative impacts on almost every American citizen.
3 - National security.
Our opponents are continually taking full advantage of every weakness that we afford them (e.g., a porous border). An enormous US leadership gap could well lead to unprecedented aggression on their part.
4 - Competence.
This NYTimes photo shows the scene. It’s hard to understand why security experts would not have cleared such an obvious nearby roof.
5 - We are living on the edge.
This event should make it clear that we are separated from chaos by just one inch. Life is a carefully choreographed charade. We need to periodically step back to see things in perspective. Hopefully, this event will wake up many sheepeople out of their semi-comatose dream state.
6 - We are not in control.
Despite our most arduous efforts and best intentions, the idea that we are in control is a siren illusion. The stark reality is that we are only 100% in control of one thing: OUR SOUL. Everything else is a crapshoot. Let’s refocus on what is really important. After that is fully taken care of, we can move on to societal issues.
5- The communist left in America will not back down nor be convinced of the error of their thinking. They must be overwhelmingly defeated at the ballot box.

Bastards
QUOTE: Like you, I am feeling a mix of anger, sadness, and shock at what happened to Donald Trump last night. And the Left's reaction to the assassination attempt will only exacerbate those emotions.
I am in London for a long weekend—had the privilege of attending the men’s semi-finals on Friday—and was hoping to take a few days off but obviously the events of yesterday demand some attention.
The attempted assassination of Donald Trump is shocking but unfortunately not surprising. Some, including Tucker Carlson, warned this would happen. All of us at some point privately have worried that after an unsuccessful decade-long effort to destroy Trump, someone would resort to the only option left—killing him in cold blood in broad daylight.
A defiant Trump emerged from a scrum of Secret Service agents, who quickly descended on the former president to protect him from additional fire, and pumped his fist in the air while saying, “Fight. Fight.”
As law enforcement points fingers and scrambles to get answers, Trump supporters and rational-minded Americans in the middle are reeling from the reality of the near-assassination of a former president and GOP presidential candidate, a man beloved by millions of Americans. Many of us couldn’t sleep last night.
And no matter how conciliatory Democrats including Biden and Barack Obama appear to sound right now, their tone won’t last. Further, it will not be shared by the ignorant, brainwashed, bloodthirsty, vengeful voters of the Democratic Party.
If anyone is expecting an olive branch from Biden voters, forget it. Some already are perpetuating a conspiracy theory that the attack was “staged” by Trump. Others are denouncing the faux expressions of sympathy by Democratic Party leaders; social media posts lament the fact the shooter missed.
If anything, the tone will worsen between now and November, potentially reaching a full-blown crisis if Trump wins the election.
I will have more thoughts, just like everyone, on this and reporting about the role of the Secret Service in both this event, the raid of Mar-a-Lago, and January 6. But for now, I think it’s best to keep sending prayers to the Trump family, the loved ones of the man killed and the two rally-goers wounded, and prepare for the worst in the months ahead.
6- The Communist/DNC Public Relations Media will not report on comments by their mega-big funder, but we will. Reid Hoffman has a long history of inflammatory behaviors.
If you are a stockholder in Microsoft, demand that he resign the board. This is an action you must take.
Reid Hoffman Wished Death Upon Trump & Funded ‘Lawfare;’ He Must Be Removed from Microsoft’s Board & Defense Innovation Board
Press Release by National Legal and Policy Center
QUOTE: Following the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pa. on Saturday, National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) is calling upon tech entrepreneur Reid Hoffman to resign his seat on the board of directors for Microsoft Corporation. Should he refuse to step down, then the Microsoft Chairman and Lead Independent Director must take steps along with fellow directors to remove him.
The shareholder group is also calling for Hoffman’s removal from the Defense Innovation Board (DIB), a body organized under the Federal Advisory Committee Act to make recommendations regarding technological modernization of the military. DIB is currently chaired by Michael Bloomberg.
At the billionaires’ retreat in Sun Valley, Idaho, this week, Mr. Hoffman reportedly engaged in a vigorous debate with fellow tech executive Peter Thiel over how the LinkedIn co-founder’s funding of “lawfare” has turned Trump into a “martyr.” According to a report by Puck News, Mr. Hoffman responded to Mr. Thiel, “Yeah, I wish I had made him an actual martyr.”
Previously, Hoffman was also widely known for introducing Jeffrey Epstein to other Silicon Valley figures.
According to Luke Perlot, associate director of NLPC’s Corporate Integrity Project:
“As shareholders of Microsoft, we call on Mr. Hoffman to resign, or be removed, from the board of directors. His ongoing presence on the board is a stain on Microsoft’s reputation and would implicitly condone his statements and actions.”
According to Paul Chesser, director of NLPC’s Corporate Integrity Project:
“Sarcasm or not, Hoffman has made clear that he doesn’t think Donald Trump has any civil rights, and that he and other billionaires should pick the president, not the American people. Some holders of great wealth seek to help the less fortunate or promote freedom and decency. Hoffman has instead sought to undermine democratic norms and values. We repeat our call that we made last year that Mr. Hoffman be removed from Microsoft’s board as well as the Defense Innovation Board.”
According to Peter Flaherty, NLPC Chairman:
“The Defense Innovation Board is engaged in the task of using technology to strengthen our defense in a dangerous world. It conducts serious business. It is no place for an unserious character like Reid Hoffman. For one thing, his associations with Jeffrey Epstein make him a security threat. For another, funding lawsuits by the likes of E. Jean Carroll and wishing martyrdom on Donald Trump should disqualify him from any government board or position.”
Founded in 1991, the National Legal and Policy Center promotes ethics in public life through research, investigation, education and legal action.
7- For your history refresher today, we leave you to ponder on another American who seemed to have been touched by a divine intervention.
By the all powerful dispensations of Providence, I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation. - George Washington
The Bulletproof George Washington
QUOTE: George Washington’s part in the July 9th, 1755, battle during the French and Indian War is indisputably one of the most significant events of his early years: his life literally hung in the balance for over two hours. This dramatic event helped shape his character and confirm God’s call on him.
During the two-hour battle, the 23 year-old Colonel Washington had ridden to and fro on the battlefield, delivering the general’s orders to other officers and troops. The officers had been a special target for the Indians. Of the eighty-six British and American officers, sixty-three were casualties. Washington was the only officer on horseback not shot down.1
Inspiring Narrative
by David Barton
This story deals with George Washington when he was involved in the French and Indian War as a young man only twenty-three years of age.
The French and Indian War occurred twenty years before the American Revolution. It was the British against the French; the Americans sided with the British; and most of the Indians sided with the French. Both Great Britain and France disputed each others’ claims of territorial ownership along the Ohio and Mississippi rivers; both of them claimed the same land.
Unable to settle the dispute diplomatically, Great Britain sent 2300 hand-picked, veteran British troops to America under General Edward Braddock to rout the French.
The British troops arrived in Virginia, where George Washington (colonel of the Virginia militia) and 100 Virginia buckskins joined General Braddock. They divided their force; and General Braddock, George Washington, and 1300 troops marched north to expel the French from Fort Duquesne — now the city of Pittsburgh. On July 9, 1755 — only seven miles from the fort — while marching through a wooded ravine, they walked right into an ambush; the French and Indians opened fire on them from both sides.
But these were British veterans; they knew exactly what to do. The problem was, they were veterans of European wars. European warfare was all in the open. One army lined up at one end of an open field, the other army lined up at the other end, they looked at each other, took aim, and fired. No running, no hiding, But here they were in the Pennsylvania woods with the French and Indians firing at them from the tops of trees, from behind rocks, and from under logs.
When they came under fire, the British troops did exactly what they had been taught; they lined up shoulder-to-shoulder in the bottom of that ravine — and were slaughtered. At the end of two hours, 714 of the 1300 British and American troops had been shot down; only 30 of the French and Indians had been shot.
There were 86 British and American officers involved in that battle; at the end of the battle, George Washington was the only officer who had not been shot down off his horse — he was the only officer left on horseback.
Following this resounding defeat, Washington gathered the remaining troops and retreated back to Fort Cumberland in western Maryland, arriving there on July 17, 1755.
The next day, Washington wrote a letter to his family explaining that after the battle was over, he had taken off his jacket and had found four bullet holes through it, yet not a single bullet had touched him; several horses had been shot from under him, but he had not been harmed. He told them:
By the all powerful dispensations of Providence, I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation.
Washington openly acknowledged that God’s hand was upon him, that God had protected him and kept him through that battle.
However, the story does not stop here. Fifteen years later, in 1770 — now a time of peace — George Washington and a close personal friend, Dr. James Craik, returned to those same Pennsylvania woods. An old Indian chief from far away, having heard that Washington had come back to those woods, traveled a long way just to meet with him.
He sat down with Washington, and face-to-face over a council fire, the chief told Washington that he had been a leader in that battle fifteen years earlier, and that he had instructed his braves to single out all the officers and shoot them down. Washington had been singled out, and the chief explained that he personally had shot at Washington seventeen different times, but without effect. Believing Washington to be under the care of the Great Spirit, the chief instructed his braves to cease firing at him. He then told Washington:
I have traveled a long and weary path that I might see the young warrior of the great battle….I am come to pay homage to the man who is the particular favorite of Heaven, and who can never die in battle.
Now more than ever ….
