Dear Patriots,
We have many items of good news this week, even amidst the terror in Israel.
As always if you want to read more, we provide links.
1- Thank you God for sending us good men who will do hard things. Thank you for people who will race to help others. As Representative Mills says: "... the American spirit's very much alive and I think standing up and stepping in is really what these people were looking for...". Indeed.
Mills rescued 32 Americans stranded in Israel. He also rushed to help in September 2021 during the disastrous withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
GOP Rep. Mills: I Had to Help Get Americans out of Israel Because Biden Won't Do His Job
QUOTE: Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) discussing helping 32 Americans get out of Israel and stated that it's now "the second time doing the Biden administration's work, because they have no plan, they have no strategy to get these Americans out who are trapped and these church groups that had been left behind."
Mills said, "I went in and was very thankful to be able to get — for the second time by the way, I'll just add, helping the Biden administration — who has failed to do their job. The first time I did it was in 2021, when I conducted the very first successful overland rescue of Americans, but here it is, the second time doing the Biden administration's work, because they have no plan, they have no strategy to get these Americans out who are trapped and these church groups that had been left behind."
He added, "I'd worked with one of the pastors in this church group as well as for a couple of isolated individuals that were stuck in these areas. They had tried to get on multiple flights, their flights were canceled, they felt they were kind of being boxed in as some of the aggression around them started to increase and really were just looking for an answer, looking for a way out. A couple of them had called the State Department and really didn't get a whole lot of support. And so, at that stage, I just felt it was necessary for me to step in and try and do something.
Our government doesn't necessarily define who we are as Americans. I think that the American spirit's very much alive and I think standing up and stepping in is really what these people were looking for, and I hope that them being home now or them actually getting out and [being] in a safe space has given them confidence that Americans won't be left behind and that at least those of us who are elected officials will stand up when it's needed."
2- FINALLY! We have been urging people for years to stop giving money to their alma maters as they have turned into communist reeducation camps.
Now, Marc Rowan, a billionaire, chair of the Board of Overseers of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and mega donor says: CLOSE YOUR WALLETS!
This is a very important development. Read this entire piece. Pass it along to people at your universities who give money or sit on boards. This may be the start of stopping the insanity.
University Donors, Close Your Checkbooks
QUOTE: Trustees, myself included, have sat in silence as our schools were taken over by ideologues. It's time to wake up.
While Hamas terrorists were slaughtering Israeli Jews, university administrators were figuring out how to spin it. Do not just take my word for it; read their statements. Across academia, administrators issued statements on behalf of their institutions expressing a repulsive moral equivalence between victims of terror and the perpetrators of that terror. The antisemitic rot in academia is unmistakable.
At the University of Pennsylvania, where I sit on the Wharton School's Board of Overseers, leaders have for too long allowed this kind of anti-Jewish hate, which sanitizes Hamas's atrocities, to infect their campuses. There must be consequences.
I call on all UPenn alumni and supporters who believe we are heading in the wrong direction to close their checkbooks until President Liz Magill and Chairman Scott Bok resign.
The responsibility also rests with many of our alumni leaders and trustees, myself included, who have sat by quietly as the pursuit of truth—the ostensible mission of our elite institutions—was traded for a poorly organized pursuit of social justice and political correctness. Sitting on the sidelines has undermined trust in academia, hindered the production and acquisition of knowledge, and, most troubling of all, allowed for calls of violence and slaughter against a minority group across campuses. We can accept that no longer.
While the moral and human cost for what we have done to a generation of students cannot be calculated, the picture is ugly. The financial cost of these policies is large and increasing. Much of this loss is kept silent as acknowledging it endangers the status quo and would encourage questions in the direction of the university from trustees, alumni, and students.
3- We will watch and see if these CEOs are able to withstand the onslaught from the left over this decision. But for now we pray for them as warriors.
At least a dozen more CEOs endorse Bill Ackman's vow not to hire Harvard students who blamed Israel for Hamas terror attack
QUOTE: Over a dozen business executives are joining the call to blacklist the Harvard students who put out a statement that blamed Israel for the Hamas attack, while the group whined about being persecuted in the aftermath.
CEOs from EasyHealth, Belong, FabFitFun, Inspired, DoveHill and many more joined billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman in the charge of outing the members of 31 student organizations who issued the statement on Sunday.
Ackman said, 'One should not be able to hide behind a corporate shield when issuing statements supporting the actions of terrorists, who, we now learn, have beheaded babies, among other inconceivably despicable acts.'
Among the CEOs now vowing never to hire anyone from the 31 Harvard students was salad chain Sweetgreen's CEO, Jonathan Neman, who echoed Ackman's message and said, 'I would like to know so I know never to hire these people.'
4- Health workers are gaining needed protection from government mandates through the courts in New York.
'Victory!' New York State Supreme Court Upholds Ruling That Struck Down COVID Vaccine Mandate for Health Workers
QUOTE: The ruling late last week by the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court means that even though the state rescinded its COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, an earlier Supreme Court ruling that struck down the mandate will stand — meaning the state's health department, governor and health commissioner "lack the legal authority" to institute vaccine mandates in the future. "The appeal is dismissed, the mandate is over and Judge [Gerard J.] Neri's decision stands," said Sujata Gibson, attorney for the plaintiffs. "This was an important victory. While it does not make healthcare workers whole, it does protect us from future overreach by the executive branch."
5- Any actions to protect children from this trash is good news.
Utah Is Suing TikTok
QUOTE: Utah has filed a lawsuit against TikTok, alleging the Chinese Communist Party-owned social media app uses its technology and algorithms to promote harmful content to children and minors.
Governor of Utah Spencer Cox announced the legal action on Tuesday afternoon in an effort to stop TikTok's "illegal business practices" and to implement stronger protections for children across the state. Utah is also seeking corrective action and damages well in excess of $300,000.
"We will no longer tolerate TikTok misleading parents that its app is safe for children," Governor Cox explained before adding, "Social media companies must be held responsible for the harms they are causing. The experts... all agree that social media is affecting our children's mental health and it's time to intervene."
Utah is now the third state after Arkansas and Indiana to sue TikTok. Montana is pushing for an outright ban.
6- We always had the treatment for Covid-CCP available but it was denied to us because the left would not allow Trump a solution.
New Study Finds Trump-Backed Hydroxychloroquine Was an Effective Covid Treatment After All.
QUOTE: Coronavirus patients treated with a combination of hydroxychloroquine – furiously denounced by the media and medical establishment after then-President Donald Trump revealed he was taking it – and azithromycin enjoyed better survival rates, a study has revealed.
The study, published in the scientific journal New Microbes and New Infections, evaluated "the efficacy and safety of a treatment protocol with [a] standard dose of hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 infection" by comparing the 28-day mortality rate of 352 patients treated with the drugs to a contemporary control group of 3,533 patients who received standard care.
Researchers found a "statistically significant reduction in crude mortality rate at 28 days was observed in the [hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin] group" – emphasizing their findings "do not support the current negative recommendations regarding this treatment." Donald Trump, who stuck by his belief in hydroxychloroquine, based on the testimony of frontline doctors, despite pressure to withdraw his support, long argued the animus against the drug was motivated purely by the fact he had endorsed it.
7- It is good news that more people see the dangers in these continued injections. The truth about this hoax is leaking out.
Over 80% Of Eligible Americans Refused Booster Shots.
QUOTE: More than 80 percent of the Americans eligible to receive the last COVID-19 booster vaccine refused to get the jab, according to a recent survey published in the journal "Vaccine".
The researchers asked over 2,000 people why they decided against getting the booster vaccine in the autumn of last year. The results identified several predominant reasons, including having already been infected with COVID, being concerned about potential side effects or dangers of the vaccine, believing that another shot would not provide more protection than they already had, as well as doubting whether the booster would protect them against severe disease or death.

American Support For Corporate Activism Wanes
QUOTE: Public support for corporate activism has dropped significantly since last year, according to polling from the Public Affairs Council and Morning Consult.
The proportion of individuals who want corporations to be involved in advocacy for or against abortion access dropped from 41% to 36%, this year, according to the 2022 and 2023 Public Affairs Pulse Survey. Support for corporate efforts to address racial discrimination similarly dropped 9%, from 66% to 57%, since last year, and the number of people supporting corporate environmental efforts dropped from 68% to 61%, according to the surveys.
Corporations faced sanctions from conservative consumers this year for engaging in what they perceived to be LGBT activism. Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light lost its spot as America's best-selling beer after partnering with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, while Target similarly lost $9 billion in market valuation in the week following a boycott over its Pride merchandise, some of which was marketed toward children.
While 53% of respondents supported corporate advocacy for ending discrimination on the basis of gender identity, that figure is down from 60% the year prior, according to the polls.
9- It is always good to see a little accountability for pushing a dangerous political fad.

Ad Agency Behind Bud Light Fiasco Fires Top Execs
QUOTE: Captiv8, the California ad agency behind Bud Light's disastrous Dylan Mulvaney marketing campaign, has fired 30 employees, about 20% of its workforce, the New York Post reports.
This is on top of the San Mateo company's canning of 13 staffers in July upon their return via private jet from a junket to the French Riviera, at which the firm received an award for the Bud Light campaign at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. While it isn't immediately clear whether the shakeup was a direct result of the social media posts that cost Bud Light its two-decade-long standing as America's No. 1-selling beer, insiders say the cringe-worthy campaign was a factor. "I'm guessing that Dylan Mulvaney contributed," one laid-off executive told the New York Post. "They weren't laying people off before [April 1]."

Round Of Applause! NHL Bans LGBTQ+-Themed Nonsense And Decides To Just Stick To Sports In Epic Liberal Tear Jerker
QUOTE: Back in June, the NHL announced that they were banning LGBTQ+-themed jerseys that were a part of their Pride Night initiative, making the decision after multiple players decided not to wear the rainbow warmup sweaters last season. The NHL has gloriously doubled down after informing franchises last week that using rainbow stick tape, otherwise known as Pride Tape, will also be banned heading into the new campaign.
Bill Daly, who is the Deputy NHL Commissioner, gave confirmation Tuesday to the Associated Press that the league sent a memo to all 32 teams of the rules that they must follow when it comes to theme nights.
The NHL has issued a sweeping ban against on-ice theme-night gear, barring clubs from having players wear rainbow sweaters or using multicolored tape on sticks during Pride Night, for example, officials say.
And, of course, the left lost their complete minds over it, which is absolute popcorn entertainment.
11- Little by little, the sane people are winning over the corporations which have been grooming our children.

Disney CEO Bob Iger Reportedly 'Overwhelmed And Exhausted' As Mickey Mouse & Co. Continues To Crumble
QUOTE: Bob Iger, who is the CEO of Walt Disney Company, is reportedly "overwhelmed and exhausted" as the Mouse House continues to beautifully collapse, with activist investor Nelson Peltz further boosting his stake due to tanking stock prices. Iger, who came back to lead Disney after handpicking a disaster in Bob Chapek to replace him, has been semi-jokingly asking his confidantes, "Why did I come back?" according to a report from Bloomberg News that cited info from Iger's inner circle.
Peltz halted his proxy fight against Disney back in February after Iger slashed costs by $5.5 billion, including laying off 7,000 employees, but now has no confidence in the CEO to pilot the company back to glory, according to The Wall Street Journal.
It's amazing to see how much Disney has crumbled. Back in March 2021, Disney's stock price was at a record high of over $191 per share, but as of Tuesday afternoon, it's now at $85.14 — which is over a 50 percent dropoff. Mickey Mouse & Co. even hit a nine-year low last Wednesday, with the price dropping down to $78.32.
12- It is good news when fewer people get their news from the left's public relation mouthpiece, the Washington Post.
Since 2021:
--Audience: down 28 percent.
--Subscriptions: down 15 percent (to around 2.5 million).
--Print revenue: down 10 percent.
--Digital ads: down 30 percent.

Washington Post to cut 240 positions as Americans turn away from corporate media
QUOTE: The Washington Post is reportedly cutting 240 employees in the 'hopes of averting more difficult actions such as layoffs — a situation we are united in trying to avoid."
"We have determined that our prior projections for traffic, subscriptions, and advertising growth for the past two years — and into 2024 — have been overly optimistic and we are working to find ways to return our business to a healthier place in the coming year."
The Washington Post is set to lose around $100 million in 2023.
13- Renewable energy is not practical for main sources of energy. Investors are noticing and cutting off the money for this folly. Now, we need to get the government to stop subsiding this craziness.

Investors Dump Renewable Energy Funds At A Record Pace
QUOTE: Global renewable energy funds saw record outflows of money in the third quarter of 2023 as stocks of wind and solar developers and suppliers crashed amid rising costs, higher interest rates, and supply-chain challenges.
Renewable energy exchange traded funds (ETFs), tracking the performance of clean energy companies, suffered a total of $1.4 billion of outflows in the third quarter, the highest outflows of any previous quarter. "There's a dark cloud hanging over green stocks," Martin Frandsen, a portfolio manager at Principal Asset Management, told the Financial Times earlier this month.
