Dear Patriot,
There is so much happening on a daily basis, and frankly, the majority of events are good news.
DOGE continues to find ways to save billions by shutting down parts of The Swamp.
The first Cabinet meeting was an illustration of the exemplary Secretaries Trump is surrounded by.
President Trump signed more Executive Orders on everything from protecting the copper industry to transparency in medical pricing.
Foreign leaders are flocking to Washington to get time with Trump.
We could see an end to the Ukraine War later today as the Ukrainian President comes to the White House for negotiations.
The White House Press Secretary made some revolutionary changes in the press pool and who decides who gets to do what.
For more insight on this change, you might enjoy this interview with Karoline Leavitt on the Ruthless podcast.
That is just to name a few things!
Enjoy the good news and have a good weekend.
1- You are not the only people praying for the Trump Administration. The first Cabinet meeting began with a prayer by HUD Secretary Scott Turner. It was wonderful to see this expression of thankfulness to God.
The Prayer: "Father, we thank you for this awesome privilege to be in your presence. Thank you that you've allowed us to see this day; the Bible says that your mercies are new every morning," he continued, going on to thank God for Trump and the opportunity He has given his cabinet to lead the nation.
Father God, we give you the glory and the honor. Thank you, God, for President Trump; for appointing us, Father God, thank you for anointing us to do this job. We pray that we would lead with a righteous clarity. As we serve the people of this country in every prospective agency, every job that we have, Father, we would humble ourselves before You, and we would lead in a manner that You've called us to lead and to serve.
Father, the Bible says, 'Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.' But Father, we today honor You and in your rightful place. Father, thank You for giving us this opportunity to restore faith in this country and be a blessing to the people of America. Lord God, today in our meeting, we pray that You will be glorified in our conversation, in Jesus' name."
2- There is still much work that is needed in this battle to repatriate illegals to their home countries, but, in a month, the Trump Team has gotten off to a good start.
Migration Arrests Rise Sevenfold Under Trump
QUOTE: The number of arrested migrants has multiplied seven-fold since President Donald Trump was inaugurated, says Kristi Noem, chief of the Department of Homeland Security.
Trump’s deputies and officers have arrested more than 20,000 illegal aliens in places far from the U.S. border, the department announced.
“That’s a 627% increase in monthly arrests compared to just 33,000 at large [far from the border] arrests under Biden for ALL of last year,” Noem said in a tweet. Nearly all of the arrested migrants are being repatriated to their foreign homes.
The rise in arrests happened after Trump canceled Biden’s many pro-migration policies. For example, Biden’s pro-migration deputy, Alejandro Mayorkas, largely blocked ICE agents from arresting migrants who were not already convicted of felonies. He also barred them from arresting illegal migrants near schools, hospitals, government buildings, churches, and courts.
Biden’s welcome policies encouraged the inflow of roughly nine million illegal migrants, who pushed down wages and raised rents throughout Americans’ society.
3- It is good that this organization is out from under the burden of lawfare. They are effective advocates for voter integrity.
Georgia State Election Board Dismisses True the Vote Litigation
QUOTE: Today, the Georgia State Election Board dismissed all pending litigation involving True the Vote, effectively bringing an end to a legal dispute that never should have begun.
For the past four years, True the Vote sent data, documents, research, and formal complaints for the State’s review. Yet the only investigation that ever occurred was aimed not at our evidence, but at us. This unprecedented move diverted attention from the core issue: ensuring transparency and accountability in elections.
While True the Vote welcomes the dismissal of this case, the broader implications remain concerning. Actions like these can have a chilling effect on civic engagement and the willingness of citizens to raise legitimate concerns. No organization or individual should face legal action simply for advocating for election integrity.
4- Don Surber spends time examining the big changes for the WH Press Corp. Read the piece in full at the link.
We would like to add these facts:
In his first month, Trump has personally answered more than 1,009 questions from the press.
Here’s how that compares to his predecessors:
• Obama: 161 questions
• Biden: 141 questions (Trump hit this number in three days)
The press has never had a more accessible President than Donald Trump. There is no hiding this President from Americans. He eagerly answers every question asked, every day. Trump wants us all to understand what is going on, straight from him.
Mocking Woke Speech
QUOTE: As you recall, the White House communications office won’t let AP in for press availabilities in the Oval Office or aboard Air Force One because AP insists on dead-naming the Gulf of America. The rest of press row is steering clear of this epic battle because reporters sense that President Trump is doing something more than trying to zing the president of Mexico.
AP’s is really a childish complaint. AP is saying you let the other guys in, why not me?
On Wednesday, Reuters joined AP at the children’s table, reporting, “The White House on Wednesday denied reporters from Reuters and other news organizations access to President Donald Trump’s first cabinet meeting in keeping with the administration’s new policy regarding media coverage.
“The White House denied access to an Associated Press photographer and three reporters from Reuters, HuffPost and Der Tagesspiegel, a German newspaper. TV crews from ABC and Newsmax, along with correspondents from Axios, the Blaze, Bloomberg News and NPR were permitted to cover the event.”
Reuters is pissed not for journalistic reasons but for prestige. The news agency sees itself as Journalistic Royalty. The White House Correspondents Association frat boys also are upset because Karoline Leavitt—all of 27—saying who gets in, and not the WHCA.
The AP Stylebook has tremendous power over the use of English in America and the Bolsheviks in journalism have seized control of the stylebook, which just about every newspaper or magazine uses.
As Matt Taibbi observed, “People are claiming the White House is bullying the AP, repeating the saw that Trump is telling them ‘what words to use.’ If you don’t see the irony, you’ve never used the AP stylebook.”
Trump isn’t merely trolling AP; he is challenging AP’s power to control the language and therefore the argument.
5- This is a horrible story that is now being dealt with. A large group of federal intelligence employees have been using government time and systems to discuss extremely vile activities. Tulsi has fired them all.
Gabbard Axes Over 100 NSA Officers for Involvement in Explicit Chatrooms.
QUOTE: Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard is announcing the imminent dismissal of over 100 intelligence community employees connected to a series of sexually explicit and graphic posts regarding sexual fetishes and transgenderism on an intragovernmental server. The individuals—employed by the National Security Administration (NSA) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)—engaged in the inappropriate discussions during work hours.
Gabbard notes the severity of the situation, describing it as a significant violation of trust, potentially having national security and blackmail implications. “There are over 100 people from across the intelligence community that contributed to and participated in what is really just an egregious violation of trust,” President Donald J. Trump’s DNI said during an interview yesterday. Gabbard added: “I put out a directive today that they will all be terminated and their security clearances will be revoked.”
6- We have a pause in this experiment, which is a good thing. At least they are testing this oral vaccine on more than eight mice.
Many people will never trust this, regardless of the testing.
Multimillion-dollar Biden-era COVID-19 vax project halted by Trump’s HHS
QUOTE: Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has paused a multimillion-dollar contract from the Biden administration to create a new COVID-19 vaccine.
"While it is crucial that the Department [of] Health and Human Services (HHS) support pandemic preparedness, four years of the Biden administration’s failed oversight have made it necessary to review agreements for vaccine production, including Vaxart’s," Kennedy said in comments provided to Fox News Digital on Tuesday.
Kennedy issued a 90-day stop-work order on Friday related to the HHS contract with American biotech company Vaxart Inc., which is working to develop a new COVID-19 vaccine that can be taken orally. The stop-work order comes as 10,000 individuals were slated to begin clinical trials on Monday.
7- Eventually, all leftist fads fall out of favor. Climate change/global warming is waning mainly because the results of those policies are horrible and do nothing to save the earth.
The Big Green Retreat
QUOTE: A new study from a climate change institute at Stanford confirms what we believed to be true. Expensive and job-destroying climate change policies are falling out of favor around the world.
“A global movement opposing climate policies is on the rise” —Stanford University
"Stanford researchers find resistance to climate action has become a global movement that strengthens after governments implement climate-related policies."
We wonder why that would be the case. Maybe because the war on fossil fuels has deindustrialized Germany and many other European nations. Maybe it’s because green energy is so much more expensive to produce. Maybe because the biggest polluters like China have done nothing.
Marc Morano of Climate Change Depot is keeping track of the big green retreat in major nations.
Here’s his list:
Germany
New Zealand
Canada
Australia
Belgium
Ireland
United States
A 2024 article in the left-leaning Foreign Affairs magazine, gave a pretty honest assessment of what happened: it was “the rise of a new ‘silent majority’ in the West, one bent on repudiating an out-of-touch elite that was either oblivious to the suffering their policies had caused or entirely indifferent to it.”
8- Steak ‘n Shake has started cooking their fries in beef tallow. This will make them a bit healthier and taste better.
Steak ‘n Shake to cook fries in beef tallow: ‘Authentic way’
QUOTE: Fast-food chain Steak ‘n Shake announced on Thursday that it will be cooking its shoestring fries in 100% beef tallow by the end of Feb. 2025.
“Our fries will now be cooked in an authentic way, 100% beef tallow, in order to achieve the highest quality and best taste,” Chris Ward, chief supply chain officer for Steak ‘n Shake, said in a statement.
In recent years, the use of “seed oils” in cooking has drawn much controversy. In October, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lambasted their use in fast-food restaurants and called for a return to using beef tallow.
“Did you know that McDonald’s used to use beef tallow to make their fries from 1940 until phasing it out in favor of seed oils in 1990?” Kennedy wrote.
“This switch was made because saturated animal fats were thought to be unhealthy, but we have since discovered that seed oils are one of the driving causes of the obesity epidemic.”
