Dear Patriot,
The break up between President Trump and Elon is a bad one. We hope they can both put their phones down and take a deep breath over the weekend.
Elon may suffer from the false idea that running the country is the same as running a company. It is not. They are not the same.
President Trump thought that too…in his first term.
President Trump is THE President. He has a duty to all Americans and all of the responsibility for the country, and the world.
Elon does not.
Hold fast!
In this crazy, fast world, it is good to stop and be grateful for the good news.
1- We were surprised by this decision, given the wobbly Supreme Court of late.
And, it was 9-0 decision! Unanimous! All those far left liberal judges voted for this!
The Court ruled that there can be no discrimination against straight people in favor of homosexuals in hiring.
Reverse discrimination is discrimination; even if you are not in a “minority” group.
Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Straight Woman in Discrimination Case
QUOTE: The Supreme Court unanimously ruled Thursday in favor of a straight woman who sued her employer for discrimination when she was denied promotion and demoted because of her sexual orientation.
The decision will make it easier for members of majority groups to sue for discrimination in parts of the country. Justice Katanji Brown Jackson wrote the opinion for the court.
“By establishing the same protections for every ‘individual’ — without regard to that individual’s membership in a minority or majority group — Congress left no room for courts to impose special requirements on majority-group plaintiffs alone,” Jackson wrote.
The petitioner, Marlean Ames, started working for the Ohio Department of Youth Services in 2004. After being interviewed for a management position in 2017, her boss selected a lesbian woman to fill the role instead. The agency later demoted Ames from her role as program administrator and hired a gay man in her place.
Ames filed a lawsuit against the agency under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits employment discrimination on the basis of sex, saying she was denied the employment opportunities because she is straight.
Both the District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit held Ames failed to meet a heightened evidentiary standard necessary to claim discrimination. Because she is part of the majority group, both courts held Ames would have to provide evidence of background circumstances showing her employer had exhibited a pattern of discrimination against members of majority groups. A minority-group plaintiff would not have to face the same hurdle.
The Court held the “background circumstances” rule, applied in the Sixth Circuit and four other appeals courts across the country, does not align with federal anti-discrimination law or Supreme Court precedent.
“The Sixth Circuit has implemented a rule that requires certain Title VII plaintiffs—those who are members of majority groups—to satisfy a heightened evidentiary standard in order to carry their burden under the first step of the McDonnell Douglas framework,” Jackson wrote. “We conclude that Title VII does not impose such a heightened standard on majority-group plaintiffs.”
The unanimous decision comes as the Trump administration seeks to dismantle DEI efforts in both the government and the private sector and two years after the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action in college admissions.
2- There has been a lot of heaving and screaming about the Big Beautiful Bill. We are inundated with conflicting information that makes it so confusing we throw up our hands and try to forget it. That is what the radical left, Fake News and RINOs want.
We found this podcast, Ruthless, which explained what is going on in straight forward language. The podcast is hosted by conservatives who worked on many campaigns and inside the halls of Congress. So, they have perspectives you may miss elsewhere. Check it out over the weekend.
NOTES: One, there is some bad language. Two, we offer this as general information and not as an endorsement of every idea discussed.

3- While some don’t like banning people from our country, it seems to be one way to help protect Americans from terrorists.
Trump announces travel ban and restrictions on 19 countries set to go into effect Monday
QUOTE: President Donald Trump on Wednesday resurrected a hallmark policy of his first term, announcing that citizens of 12 countries would be banned from visiting the United States and those from seven others would face restrictions.
The ban takes effect Monday at 12:01 a.m., a cushion that may avoid the chaos that unfolded at airports nationwide when a similar measure took effect with virtually no notice in 2017. Trump, who signaled plans for a new ban upon taking office in January, appears to be on firmer ground this time after the Supreme Court sided with him.
Some, but not all, 12 countries also appeared on the list of banned countries in Trump’s first term. The new ban includes Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. There will be heightened restrictions on visitors from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
In a video released on social media, Trump tied the new ban to Sunday’s terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, saying it underscored the dangers posed by some visitors who overstay visas. The suspect in the attack is from Egypt, a country that is not on Trump’s restricted list. The Department of Homeland Security says he overstayed a tourist visa.
Trump said some countries had “deficient” screening and vetting or have historically refused to take back their own citizens. His findings rely extensively on an annual Homeland Security report of visa overstays of tourists, business visitors and students who arrive by air and sea, singling out countries with high percentages of remaining after their visas expired.
“We don’t want them,” Trump said.
4- There are many actions being taken all over the country that get scant attention. This is one example of a university employee saying, out loud, that she will continue pushing the radical DEI agenda, despite it being banned by the Board of Governors.
She has been fired.
We make small steps everyday that we pray will add up to wholesale change in higher education.
North Carolina University Dean Ousted After Admitting to Secretive DEI Push
QUOTE: University of North Carolina Asheville Dean of Students Megan Pugh has been removed after admitting to secretly pushing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
“I mean we probably still do anyway… but you gotta keep it quiet,” Pugh told an undercover journalist in a video released by Accuracy in Media. “I love breaking rules,” the university dean said.
Pugh’s comments follow after the North Carolina System Board of Governors voted to virtually ban controversial DEI practices and pivot to “institutional neutrality.”
The video also shows Pugh agreeing when asked if “breaking rules” is “why y’all kind of spread it out and stuff?” “Part of it is that, part of it is just because we don’t have a dedicated office for it anymore, it’s easier to maintain,” she admitted. “Until more or less they get mad at us, but they haven’t done it yet,” she continued.
She responded affirmatively when asked if the school administration was generally supportive of the ways that DEI is still being implemented at the university.
A UNC Asheville spokesperson said the school is “aware of a video in which an employee makes comments implying that the University does not comply with UNC System policies or legal requirements and supports employees disregarding such obligations. These remarks do not represent the practices of UNC Asheville. The University remains firmly committed to upholding all UNC System policies as well as federal and state laws, both in principle and in practice,” the statement continued.
The university said that the “individual is no longer employed at the university.”
5- Another step towards fair elections.
Iowa Gov. Signs Law to Question Voter Citizenship
QUOTE: Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a new election law Monday allowing poll workers to question voters about their citizenship, sparking criticism from civil rights groups who warn it could lead to voter intimidation and racial profiling. House File 954 requires voters whose citizenship is questioned to present documentation verifying their legal status. If the documents do not satisfy election officials, the individual will be limited to casting a provisional ballot until their status is confirmed by state or federal records.
The law comes amid heightened concern among Republicans over alleged voter fraud by noncitizens, claims that intensified last year when President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance raised alarms about immigrants without legal status participating in elections.
6- Texas…always on the target list of the radical left...has a win.
Texas FINALLY Halts Tuition for Illegals
QUOTE: Texas has agreed to halt its policy of offering in-state tuition rates to illegal immigrants following a legal challenge from the Department of Justice (DOJ). The federal lawsuit, filed on Wednesday, alleges that the practice unfairly discriminates against out-of-state American students by granting financial advantages to illegals.
The lawsuit challenges a long-standing Texas education policy, claiming it violates federal law by prioritizing illegal immigrants over U.S. citizens from other states. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, in response, filed a joint motion with the Trump administration to formally end the law.
This move aligns with broader efforts by the Trump administration to tighten immigration policies and prevent benefits for those residing in the country unlawfully. President Trump has issued two executive orders aimed at curbing preferential treatment for illegal immigrants, emphasizing the importance of fairness in public resource allocation.
The decision could have wide-ranging implications for both illegal alien students who have relied on in-state tuition rates and out-of-state American students who have contested the policy as discriminatory.
7- Great news for the defense of our country. Good news for the young people now serving and training.
Trump Effect: Army Reaches Recruitment Goals Months Ahead of Schedule.
QUOTE: The U.S. Army has announced it has already achieved its recruitment goals for 2025, four months ahead of expectations, noting that 61,000 new recruits have joined. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll made the announcement on June 3, making it the first time in over ten years that the Army had met its recruitment goal by the start of June.
“From the White House and Congress to the Pentagon, our soldiers are a priority. This is only the beginning. As more Americans learn about the Army’s mission and legacy, I hope more will choose to serve,” Driscoll said.
Under the prior Biden regime and former Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, the Army struggled to recruit new troops, focusing instead on diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) policies. In 2022, the Army missed recruitment goalsby 25 percent, while the Air Force missed recruitment goals in 2023 by 10 percent, the most in more than 20 years.
8- Teenager Christian McGhee was suspended from school and labeled “racist" for using the term “illegal alien” in class. The good news is he will receive $20,000 and a public apology from the Board of Education after they falsely accused him of “racial bias.”
Christian asked a question of his teacher when she used the word “alien" in a vocabulary exercise. He was clarifying if she meant an outer space alien or an illegal alien. For that he was kicked out of school.
Teen suspended for using term 'illegal alien' just beat the system and cashed in
QUOTE: The left has weaponized language. That’s what “political correctness” really is: control disguised as kindness. Calling someone an “illegal alien” isn’t hateful or racist; it’s legally accurate. That’s the correct term. But in today’s twisted world of Cultural Marxism, stating a fact can get you labeled a bigot, suspended from school, or worse. This is how they do it: they control the language, then the thoughts, then the ideas. That’s not kindness; it’s tyranny. And it’s not freedom.
Meet Christian McGhee, a 16-year-old high school student in North Carolina who used the term “illegal alien” in an English assignment and was suspended for it. His school said it was “offensive” and “disrespectful.” They accused him of “racial bias.”
Instead of backing down, Christian fought back and won. Big time.
The family of a North Carolina high school student suspended last year for saying “illegal alien” in English class has dropped their lawsuit against the district in exchange for a public apology and $20,000.
The board has agreed to remove all references to racial bias in McGhee’s school record and issue a public apology “for the mischaracterization of racial bias” in his record, documents show.
This is a huge victory.
The left is famous for using language as a weapon to control thought, punish dissent, and erode the foundation of a free society. But this brave young man didn’t back down. He stood up, fought back, and won.
