Dear Patriot,
We are holding our breath until Monday at noon when the Trump Administration will be off to the races to save our country. We feel the vigor and excitement of the Trump Team who is ready to get to work.
If nothing else, this week of hearings has shown us that the Democrats are a party on life support. Oh, they are not dead. And will rise again. But for this shining moment, all the momentum is with Trump and the America First agenda. Trump has an undisputed electoral mandate and has won majority approval going into office. Defying all odds, he is the most substantive political leader of a lifetime. Daily Trump shows original thinking, new ideas and positive policy results.
The Democrats have nothing that is successful. Failed, hapless, bitter Biden and Harris will soon be limping out of town. They have no leaders. No plans. No message. No policies that resonate, much less make life better. No solutions.
Their strongest potential candidate for President is burning down his state.
This week the shrieking, old Democrat Senators, steeped in their own hypocrisy, could not lay a hand on Trump’s young, brilliant, tough, enthusiastic, positive, articulate nominees for his Cabinet.
On top if this the FakeNews/DriveBys/CorporateMedia has lost more audience and is laying off staff.
We still have a long and difficult path ahead. This world has a heap of problems. But for the next few days, enjoy this sliver of time. It is historic and we are blessed to be living it.
"Today, I believe that President Trump has a generational opportunity to unleash a new economic golden age that will create more jobs, wealth, and prosperity for all Americans.” —Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent at his hearing on Thursday.
How fun is it that under Trump we have three Special Ambassadors to Hollywood! Jon Voight, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone are going to Make Hollywood Great Again.
Mel Gibson, who lost his home in LA to fire, responded to the announcement: "I heed the call. My duty as a citizen is to give any help and insight I can. Any chance the position comes with an Ambassador's residence?"
1- Well…it’s a start. There are literally thousands of chemical ingredients added to processed food, drinks, medications and beauty products in the USA that have been BANNED all over Europe for decades. RFK, Jr and many in the healthy food movement have been fighting against this for years. Suddenly, upon the threat of RFK going into HHS, the FDA decides to ban a dye used in many products that mostly children eat.
This is a small but meaningful step toward Making America Healthy Again.
FDA Bans Use of Red No. 3 in Food, Ingested Drugs
QUOTE: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated on Jan. 15 that it is revoking authorization for the use of Red No. 3 in food products and ingested pharmaceuticals, citing potential health concerns associated with the synthetic food dye.
The decision comes after years of scrutiny and debate over the safety of Red No. 3, also known as erythrosine.
Red No. 3 is a colorant that has been commonly used in a variety of products, including candies, cereals, and certain medications, to impart a bright pink or red hue.
The agency’s decision is based on a comprehensive review of scientific studies that have raised concerns about the potential carcinogenic effects of Red No. 3 when consumed in large quantities over extended periods, according to the agency’s announcement.
While the FDA had previously restricted the use of Red No. 3 in cosmetics and externally applied drugs in 1990, its use in food and ingested drugs has continued until now.
“At long last, the FDA is ending the regulatory paradox of Red 3 being illegal for use in lipstick, but perfectly legal to feed to children in the form of candy,” CSPI President Dr. Peter G. Lurie said in a Jan. 15 statement. “The primary purpose of food dyes is to make candy, drinks, and other processed foods more attractive. When the function is purely aesthetic, why accept any cancer risk?”
Consumers are advised to check product labels for Red No. 3, which may also be listed as E127 or erythrosine.
2- Every single instance of DEI dying is a great day for America…especially this one.
FBI closed DEI office in December, agency says
QUOTE: The FBI has closed its DEI office, Fox News confirmed.
"In recent weeks, the FBI took steps to close the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), effective by December 2024," the agency told Fox News Digital on Thursday.
The agency didn't specify why it had closed the office, although many Republicans have been critical of it prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion, saying that had overshadowed national security.
Earlier this month, Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray claiming that "radical" DEI practices had "endangered" Americans following the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans
3- Of course, anyone paying scant attention knew that this group was cheating. Now it is official…six years later.
Stacey Abrams’ group to pay largest fine for campaign violations in Georgia history
QUOTE: A voting rights group founded by Stacey Abrams will pay $300,000 for illegally supporting her 2018 gubernatorial campaign — the largest fine ever assessed for violating Georgia campaign finance laws.
In all, the New Georgia Project and an affiliated group, the New Georgia Project Action Fund, admitted to 16 violations of state campaign finance laws.
It’s a dramatic about-face for a group that for years denied it did anything improper and mocked the investigation as a politically motivated “fishing expedition.” On Wednesday, it admitted to every allegation the commission had leveled against it.
It was also a stunning blow to the political organization that helped propel Abrams to the national spotlight in her campaign against Republican Brian Kemp. The New Georgia Project’s eye-popping voter registration figures were a fixture in national coverage of Abrams and helped establish her as a rising Democratic star and a prominent voting rights activist.
The consent order also affirms what Republicans, and even some Democrats, had long suspected during the hard-fought 2018 campaign against Republican Brian Kemp: The group Abrams founded to register left-leaning voters crossed the line by advocating directly for her election.
Under the consent agreement, the New Georgia Project must pay $150,000 within 30 days and the other half within a year. Emadi said it’s the largest civil penalty assessed for campaign finance violations in Georgia history and may be the highest such fine assessed by any state.
4- Just the beginning of gaining control of our borders.
Border Encounters Drop to Lowest Daily Average Since July 2020 Ahead of Trump’s Inauguration.
QUOTE: Daily encounters with illegal immigrants at the U.S. southern border in December hit their lowest average since July 2020. The decline is likely due to the impending inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump, who has pledged to enact comprehensive security measures at the border and organize the mass deportation of illegal immigrants present in the United States.
5- Rethinking every single corner of government in order to solve problems seems to be standard operating procedure for Trump. It is one of his characteristics that makes us appreciate him.
Trump Unveils New IRS-Style ‘External Revenue Service’ to Collect Tariffs and Duties From Foreign Countries
QUOTE: President-elect Donald Trump has unveiled plans to create the External Revenue Service (ERS), a new agency modeled after the IRS but aimed at collecting tariffs, duties, and revenues from foreign countries rather than U.S. taxpayers.
Trump announced the plan in a Jan. 14 social media post, in which he framed the proposal as a move to shift the financial burden of taxation away from U.S. citizens and onto foreign entities benefiting from trade with the United States.
“For far too long, we have relied on taxing our Great People using the Internal Revenue Service (IRS),” he wrote. “Through soft and pathetically weak Trade agreements, the American Economy has delivered growth and prosperity to the World, while taxing ourselves. It is time for that to change.”
Trump said the ERS will launch on Jan. 20, his first day in office. The agency is to focus on revenue generation from foreign sources by enforcing tariffs, duties, and other trade-related fees on goods imported into the United States. The idea appears to shift some of the responsibility for funding the government away from domestic taxpayers and toward foreign nations and corporations benefiting from access to the U.S. market. “We will begin charging those that make money off of us with Trade,” Trump said. “They will start paying, FINALLY, their fair share.”
A recent analysis of Trump’s proposed tariffs by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office found that they could significantly reduce the U.S. federal deficit over the next decade, while their effect on consumer prices and economic output would be relatively modest.
6-The good news here is that this vindictive, spiteful woman will NOT be the President.
With snub of JD Vance’s family, Kamala Harris reveals her callous soul
QUOTE: The heart-rending coverage of evacuations is reminding millions of Americans of the importance of home, of our sense of belonging. Especially for kids. This week Kamala Harris, more than almost anyone else in Washington, should understand that significance.
That’s what makes Monday’s CBS News report on Harris and her successor, Vice President-elect JD Vance, so troubling.
Senator JD Vance, his wife Usha and their three small children are set to move into the veep’s official residence at the US Naval Observatory on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20 — yet Harris, its current occupant, has refused to let them tour it.
Moving is traumatic for children. One of the ways my family has softened the blow of a move was by walking our kids through our new home, letting them choose their bedrooms and the layout of their spaces.
Denied a chance to see it in person, Usha Vance reportedly sought to contact Harris staffers for “details including what they would need to childproof” the historic building, Jacobs reported. It has been decades since a young family has lived in the residence, which was not built with the needs of small children in mind. It’s Usha’s responsibility to make sure the home is safe for their kids — and she’s being denied the right to ensure that.
Those close to Harris defended her choice to CBS, claiming that the veep herself was never given the opportunity to tour the home before moving in (a claim immediately contested by former VP Mike Pence).
Harris’ pettiness with the Vance family is emblematic of a woman who prides herself on empathy but practices little of it when faced with her political opponents.
7- We love out-of-the-box thinking that solves big problems. This idea is wonderful.
New school's out-of-the-box approach could transform education in the United States
QUOTE: A new type of high school opened in Forney, Texas, outside of Dallas, where students not only learn in the classroom but also on the job. The school, Opportunity Central (OC), which serves Forney and North Forney high school students, is housed in a building specially designed to support its out-of-the-box education. The upper two floors are classrooms while the first floor is a mall open to the public. Students go to the mall after classes and work in the stores and businesses, gaining business experience in a variety of different career paths. Shopkeepers receive a discount on their rent in exchange for mentoring students. Some businesses are even run by the students themselves.
Students attending OC are sophomores, juniors and seniors from from Forney and North Forney high schools enrolled in career and technology education, or CTE, programs. The diverse fields of study include marketing and sales, construction management, cosmetology, health care diagnostics, law, public safety, corrections and security, automotive technology and more. Students attend classes during the day and then work in one of the partner businesses.
Texas Governor Greg Abbot retweeted Dallas entrepreneur Chris Koerner's tweet (below) of a video about the school shortly after it opened and while still under some construction. Abbot noted that the school was generating income while educating students to run their own businesses.
"The future of education. A school in Texas that generates revenue, while also educating young entrepreneur students how to run their own business.”
Opportunity Central could change the game—not just for Forney students, but for education across the country. By combining hands-on experience with classroom learning, the school is giving students a real shot at success, no matter their background.
8- Parental rights are vital to strong families and healthy children. We look forward to more states moving to protect the rights of parents to make educational decisions for their children.
Ohio’s New Parental Rights Law Protects Students And Educators
QUOTE: As the saying goes these days, nature is healing. Aside from the waning of woke culture and the renewed hope Americans have in the future, state leaders are finally restoring parental rights in public education, most notably in Ohio.
Recently, the Buckeye State’s legislature passed the Parents’ Bill of Rights that would require school officials to (1) notify parents about any “sexually explicit materials” and give parents permission to “request alternative instruction”; (2) inform parents about any “healthcare services” being provided along with changes that arise; (3) communicate all important mental or physical health information to parents “unless that disclosure would result in abuse, abandonment, or neglect”; and (4), address any parental concerns with the wellbeing of their children.
In practice, this means that educators would need to let parents know if they are teaching content that touches on sexual themes and offer alternatives if this conflicts with the judgment of the parents. Presumably, school and classroom libraries would have to maintain age-appropriate collections and remove pornographic literature and any other objectionable material.
9- It seems fundamental but, adults need to make the hard decisions for what is best for children. Banning phones at school is reaping notable results.

Florida School District Banned Cell Phones and the Results Have Been Wild
QUOTE: A Florida school district that banned student cell phone use this school year is reporting fewer problems and better grades.
Broward County Public Schools banned any phone use, including at lunchtime.
“I’ve noticed a lot more creativity with students, I think their attention spans are a little longer, they have excellent conversations in their groups, those conversations are lasting longer, our class discussions are definitely a lot longer and they’re a lot deeper because no one’s really focused on checking their phone,” Dan Katz, who teaches drama and law at Fort Lauderdale High School, said.
School board member Allen Zeman said fights are down 17 percent from the same point a year ago. According to school administrators, he said, “the lack of cellphones is taking away an ability for people to organize fights and organize big numbers of people to get together and fight during or after school.
Zeman said academic achievement has improved throughout the schools because of the policy. “This year, at the halfway point, our gains are greater than they were, the gains, from last year,” Zeman said.
“I had a teacher write to us and say for the first time in 10 years, for each student in her classroom, she had two eyeballs watching her give a lecture,” he said.
A Broward County Schools news release said that banning cell phone use, even during lunch, led to “[p]rioritizing school as a place for learning that is distraction-free. This can help students stay focused on academics and maintain a learning mindset throughout the school day.”
