Dear Patriot,
As we look to next week and what surely will be an entertaining DNC convention, we are, as usual, sending you into the weekend with little bits of good news to enjoy and share.
1- Texas AG Ken Paxton wins another fight. The left hates him. And sadly, the Texas GOP is not unified behind him. He is a warrior.
Texas AG Ken Paxton Scores ANOTHER Win Against The Biden-Harris Anti-Women Agenda.
QUOTE: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) has successfully petitioned to expand a court injunction against the Biden-Harris government’s attempts to impose changes to Title IX in contradiction of state anti-discrimination laws. The expanding court order now provides additional protections for women in Texas academic institutions, ensuring that biological males who claim to be female cannot claim protected status and use spaces reserved for women.
The Texas fight against the Title IX rule changes—which grant special status to transgender individuals and would force academic institutions receiving federal funds to allow biological males into spaces reserved exclusively for women—began with a Paxton-led lawsuit in June of 2023. A year later, the Texas Attorney General secured a major win against the Biden-Harris government, with a federal district judge ruling that “rewriting Title IX in a way that shockingly transforms American education” is unlawful.
With today’s ruling, the judge expanded that injunction, effectively enjoining any future attempts by the Department of Education to change the statute to include provisions for “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” while Paxton‘s lawsuit remains pending in the appeals process.
Paxton hailed the expanded injunction on Tuesday, stating: “This is a major win for protecting Texas and its students from any future attempt by the federal government to impose its unlawful interpretation of Title IX that puts women and girls at risk.”
2- We love every single instance of Democrats being held accountable for election fraud.
Democrat Election Worker in Harris County, Texas Charged with Six Felonies For His Role in Rigging 2022 Election After Probe Finds Insufficient Paper Ballots in Republican Precincts
QUOTE: A Democrat election worker in Harris County, Texas was charged with 6 felonies for his role in rigging the 2022 midterm election.
Democrat District Attorney Kim Ogg on Tuesday announced tampering and theft charges against election worker Darryl Blackburn after there was a paper ballot shortage at 119 polling locations across Harris County.
The investigation found there were insufficient paper ballots in many Republican precincts.
Darryl Blackburn has been charged with tampering and theft. Blackburn was paid $90,000 by Harris County to allocate paper ballots to polling locations while also working a full-time job on the side.
“We know this was a failure,” outgoing Democrat District Attorney Kim Ogg said. “Mr. Blackburn not only stole thousands of dollars from Harris County in the sense that he lied on timesheets, but much more importantly, he stole individuals’ rights to vote a basic constitutional right in our democracy because people on both sides were delayed in their voting, halted in their voting, rerouted in their voting.”
The overwhelming majority of Election Day voters are Republicans so of course a lack of paper ballots on Election Day means Republicans were disenfranchised.
3- Another leftist leaves leadership at a leftist university. So many more need to be replaced.
Columbia University president resigns after Gaza protests turmoil
QUOTE: Columbia University President Minouche Shafik has resigned from her position amid a free speech debate over campus protests of the war in Gaza.
Ms Shafik's resignation comes only a year after she took the position at the private Ivy League university in New York City, and just a few weeks before the autumn semester is due to begin.
Ms Shafik is now the third president of an Ivy League university to resign over her handling of Gaza war protests.
In April, Ms Shafik authorised New York Police Department officers to swarm the campus, a controversial decision that led to the arrest around 100 students who were occupying a university building. The episode marked the first time that mass arrests had been made on Columbia's campus since Vietnam War protests more than five decades ago.
Her resignation comes after three Columbia University deans also resigned last week, after text messages showed the group used "antisemitic tropes" while discussing Jewish students. The text exchanges were originally published by the Republican-led House Committee on Education and the Workforce in early July.
4- Shhhh……don’t tell anyone this!!
Republican voter registration is four times higher than Democrat voter registration in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.
GOP Voter Registration Four Times Higher Than Dems in Pennsylvania; Report
QUOTE: Decision Desk data shows that GOP voter registration surged in July, with more than 21,000 Republicans signing up to vote. In contrast, only 5,000 Democrats registered to vote in July 2024.
The data also shows that since November 2020, the number of Democrats registered to vote in the state has decreased by more than 320,000. Meanwhile, the number of Republicans registered to vote has also dropped, but by a much smaller margin, with 1,400 fewer voters since 2020.
5- This is a significant shift in the medical community regarding the fad of altering children’s gender. We hope this signifies the beginning of the end of this insanity.
A Consensus No Longer
QUOTE: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons becomes the first major medical association to challenge the consensus of medical groups over “gender-affirming care” for minors.
The main justification for “gender-affirming care” for minors in the United States has been that “all major U.S. medical associations” support it. Critics of this supposed consensus have argued that it is not grounded in high-quality research or decades of honest and robust deliberation among clinicians with different viewpoints and experiences. Instead, it is the result of a small number of ideologically driven doctor-association members in LGBT-focused committees, who exploit their colleagues' trust. Physicians presenting different viewpoints are silenced or kept away from decision-making circles, ensuring the appearance of unanimity.
Perhaps because it has never really depended on evidence, this doctor-group consensus has shown remarkable resilience in the face of major system shocks, including several whistleblowers, revelations from court documents that WPATH manipulated scientific evidence reviews, the Cass Review, a bipartisan commitment in the U.K. to roll back pediatric medical transition, and a growing international call for a developmentally informed approach that prioritizes psychotherapy over hormones and surgeries.
6- We are mostly thrilled that someone in the media actually asked the question!!
Not Even KJP Can Name Any of Kamala's Policy Achievements
QUOTE: What exactly has Kamala Harris accomplished while in office? As we've reported in the past, her supporters can't name anything. But what's even more telling than that is that White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who has all the resources of the White House propaganda machine, couldn't name a "specific policy achievement” during Vice President Harris' time in office.
"Her — our accomplishments here — the Biden-Harris accomplishments are the Biden-Harris accomplishments. She’s played a role, whether it is being on the floor of the Senate — right? — getting really important legislations to — to come –to — to pass through — right? — or being in the room with the president on trying to figure out how to move forward strategically with a policy or how to make tough decisions on behalf of the American people. She’s been there. She has been there.”
Jean-Pierre's failure to name a specific policy achievement from Kamala Harris is really embarrassing, but the way she unambiguously linked Kamala Harris to the entirety of the administration's record is actually a huge problem for the Harris-Walz campaign. It's been obvious that Harris is desperately trying to put some distance between herself and the administration's record and positions on, for example, Israel, the economy, and immigration, yet according to KJP, there's no distance at all between them.
Now, of course, we knew that already, but for KJP to say so is a gift to the Trump campaign.
7- Did you read recently that Americans are sad and lonely?
For whatever reason the leftist media wants you to believe that none of us has a friend in the world.
NOT SO FAST!
It turns out most of us have at least four good friends …just enough in our book!
But, if you are seeking more good friends, contact your local Republican Party office and sign up to do anything during the next few months. You will meet great people and make new friends! (Oh…and, hopefully, save the country!)
Loneliness epidemic an overblown myth, study says
QUOTE: Contrary to popular belief, Americans aren’t becoming more isolated. A comprehensive new study finds that friendship is alive and well in the United States, with most people reporting multiple close relationships and regular social interactions.
The American Friendship Project (AFP), a survey of social patterns across the country, reveals that the average American has four to five close friends. This finding challenges recent reports suggesting a dramatic rise in social isolation and friendlessness. In fact, the study found that less than 3% of Americans report having no friends at all – a figure that has remained remarkably stable over the past 40 years.
Led by researchers Natalie Pennington, Jeffrey A. Hall, and Amanda J. Holmstrom, the AFP aims to provide the most accurate and complete account of American friendship to date. The study, published in PLOS One, examines not only how many friends people have but also the quality of these relationships and their impact on overall well-being.
The study sheds light on how Americans maintain their friendships in the digital age. Contrary to fears that technology is replacing in-person interaction, the AFP found that face-to-face meetings remain the most common way people connect with friends. About two-thirds of participants reported seeing their friends in person at least once a month. Phone calls and text messaging were also popular, with social media playing a supporting rather than a dominant role in most friendships.

Funny parents raise happier kids
QUOTE: An exciting new study for parents concludes that humor could be the missing ingredient in the recipe for effective child-rearing.
Picture this: It’s a typical weekday morning. You’re trying to get your kids ready for school, but your five-year-old is adamant about wearing her princess costume to kindergarten, while your seven-year-old has suddenly decided he’s allergic to breakfast. As the clock ticks and your blood pressure rises, you have two choices: lose your cool or find the funny. According to this groundbreaking research, choosing the latter might not only save your sanity but could also build stronger, more positive relationships with your children.
The study, published in the journal PLOS ONE, reveals that a whopping 71.8% of participants agreed that humor can be an effective parenting tool. However, it’s not just about cracking jokes or pulling silly faces. The research suggests that parental humor could be a secret ingredient in fostering cognitive flexibility, relieving stress, and promoting creative problem-solving and resilience in both parents and children.
“Humor can teach people cognitive flexibility, relieve stress, and promote creative problem solving and resilience,” says Dr. Benjamin Levi, professor of pediatrics and humanities at Penn State College of Medicine and senior author of the study, in a media release.
Of those who reported that their parents used humor, 50.5% said they had a good relationship with their parents, and 44.2% felt their parents did a good job raising them. In stark contrast, among those whose parents didn’t use humor, only 2.9% reported a good relationship with their parents, and a mere 3.6% thought their parents did a good job.
