Dear Patriot,
Yet another week of unexpected, amazing news.
It is difficult to digest all that is happening on so many different fronts.
Calling out the South African president, to his face, for violent racism … Negotiating and passing the “Big Beautiful Bill” … The autopen scandal … Meltdowns by the radical left ...
There is always something for everyone!
There will be no newsletter on Monday, Memorial Day.
We will be honoring and remembering family members who fought and died while in the service of our country.
Enjoy the good news and celebrate our hard won freedoms.
1- Over the weekend, you might watch yet another extraordinary press conference in the Oval Office. On Thursday, President Trump met with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Watch here on Rumble via the Alex Jones Show:
In front of the world, President Trump went to the mat on the horrible racism, murder and theft that has been going on in South Africa for years; all of which has been studiously ignored by the worldwide Fake News.
He is forcing the conversation into the light. President Trump stood up boldly for the terrorized who have been forgotten, ignored and striped of their voices.
Trump played this video documenting violence and racist rhetoric from political leaders in South Africa. South Africans came to the Trump White House begging for economic development, aid and investment from America because South Africa is a country falling apart at the seams.
Trump made it clear we will not do business with a country whose stated goal is to kill all white people.
Trump will not be rolled. President Ramaphosa apparently was used to dealing with whoever was in charge in the Biden Regime.
This was an astounding display of courage and morality by President Trump and his team.
Right on cue, the radical far left had a complete meltdown and, in unison, used the same words to cast doubt on what is happening in South Africa. In fact, the entire left wing media is telling you not to believe your own eyes. It is telling, especially after the lies we are now peeling back on who was in control of the country for the past four years.
2- What more can be said? When Trump says he is going to do something, he manages to do it!
Promises Made, Promises Kept: Memorial Day Set For Lowest Gas Prices in Over 20 Years
QUOTE: Americans celebrating Memorial Day by hitting the road will likely be paying the cheapest gas prices since 2003.
GasBuddy, a fuel savings platform, said Tuesday that it forecasts the national average price of gasoline to be $3.08 per gallon on Memorial Day. That would make it the cheapest since 2021 in nominal terms. After adjusting for inflation, it would be the lowest since 2003.
This is not expected to be short-lived. Prices of gasoline are expected to average around $3.02 per gallon between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with prices falling below three dollars on some days.
That’s likely to bring cheer to the 69 percent of Americans who plan on taking a road trip this summer.
The low price of gasoline is a major political coup for President Donald Trump. On the campaign trail last year, Trump repeatedly said that a Trump administration would lower energy prices and lower gasoline prices. Democrats, including Cory Booker, attacked Trump for promising to bring down energy prices.
Trump, however, gets the laugh last on this as Americans get cheaper gasoline in time for the summer road trip season.
3- When peace is the goal, peace will be had. All politicians should pursue peace in the world the way Donald Trump is pursuing peace.
A U.S. president pursuing peace
QUOTE: It’s gratifying to see President Donald Trump personally pursuing peace and reconciliation in a world ravaged by war and conflict. His dictum that “we have no permanent enemies” is a powerful statement coming from the leader of the free world. Fortunately, the subject changed from more weapons that can kill more people, to what we must do to stop these wars, killing so many innocent people.
What Mr. Trump has accomplished since being sworn in as president on January 20, 2025, is impressive.
On April 26, terrorists shot 26 civilians in Pahalgam, Kashmir and on May 7th, India retaliated by attacking terrorist bases in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, in addition to sites in Pakistan’s Punjab province. The potential for armed confrontation between two nuclear-armed countries was palpable. Fortunately, Mr. Trump brokered a ceasefire on May 10th, before war seemed inevitable.
During Mr. Trump’s trip to Saudi Arabia, he announced that the U.S. was lifting sanctions on Syria. He subsequently met with Syria’s new leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, a former Al Qaeda commander and U.S.-designated terrorist. Mr. Trump made it clear to Mr. al-Sharaa that Syria was expected to cooperate with the U. S. on counterterrorism, especially against ISIS. Mr. Al-Sharaa was also told that his government would protect our Kurdish partners in Syria, who fought so bravely against ISIS and other terrorist groups.
The timing coincided with the dissolution of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) in Turkey, a militant Kurdish separatist group fighting against the government of Turkey since 1978, seeking an independent Kurdistan. This development had to be pleasing to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
To the surprise of many, the U. S. war with the Houthis in Yemen ended with a ceasefire on May 6, 2025, brokered by Oman. However, the civil war in Yemen continues, with widespread malnutrition.
Mr. Trump continues to seek an end to the war in Ukraine, an elusive goal. Recent efforts to meet in Turkey for direct peace talks ended abruptly when Russian President Vladimir Putin refused to participate and instead sent a low-level delegation to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Mr. Trump hasn’t given up on getting a ceasefire. As the fighting in Ukraine continues, casualties continue to rise, with estimates of about 500,000 deaths and injuries in Russia and Ukraine. Indeed, the civilian casualties in Ukraine are staggering, with broad devastation to population centers. An immediate ceasefire is the only humane option for Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine.
The war in Gaza continues, with Israel pursuing and decapitating Hamas, while innocent Palestinians continue to suffer the consequences of collateral deaths and injuries, with widespread food and medical scarcities. Hopefully, we will have a ceasefire in Gaza and, under the Oslo Accords, a two-state solution will be pursued. Given Mr. Trump’s excellent relationship with Israel and its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, hopefully he can convince the government of Israel to end the war in Gaza and the West Bank and in earnest pursue a two-state solution to resolving the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
Pope Leo XIV is the first American to head the Catholic Church. A few days ago, he pledged to “make every effort” for peace and offered the Vatican as a mediator in global conflicts, saying war was “never inevitable.” The global community is fortunate that there are two American leaders pursuing peace for a world in disarray.
4- Trump seeks to protect generations of future Americans. He proposes visionary, big things.
Trump Unveils Golden Dome Project: A Great Game Changer for America's Future
QUOTE: During the campaign and since his inauguration, President Trump has promised the construction of a Golden Dome missile and drone defense system to cover the continental United States. On Tuesday, the president, flanked by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Space Force General Michael Guetlein, announced details of what will comprise the Golden Dome as well as the implementation plan. The president stated at one point that he had promised the American people a cutting-edge missile shield, and said, "That's what we're doing.”
An earlier Fox News piece gave some details of the system and its cost: A total of $25 billion has been carved out of next year's defense budget for this system, but the Congressional Budget office estimates it could cost as much as $500 billion over the next 20 years.
The system is expected to cost up to $500 billion over the next decade, although the president, during the press conference, mentioned a total tab of $125 billion. Although we should note that the final costs of massive projects of this kind are routinely underestimated.
President Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth both credited President Reagan for the concept, in the form of the Reagan-era Strategic Defense Initiative, the "Star Wars" project; the technology at the time precluded what the Golden Dome is projected to be capable of, namely, intercepting and destroying threats including hypersonic missiles, submarine-launched missiles, cruise missiles and drones.
In the press conference, the president indicated that the system would be completed and online in three years, which seems a remarkably compressed timeline for a project of this size. But consider that, should the Republicans lose control of the White House and Congress in 2028, this project would almost certainly be canceled, whereas if it were finished and operational, it's far more likely to remain in place. There are other countries involved who, at that point, would have a say in any cancellation. The president also noted that Canada has reached out, indicating a desire to be part of the project and to be under its defensive envelope.

Democrats shocked, SHOCKED that breaking the law leads to their arrest
QUOTE: Across the country, a new defense is being heard in state and federal courtrooms. From Democratic members of Congress to judges to city council members, officials claim that their duties include obstructing the official functions of the federal government.
It is a type of liberal license that excuses almost any crime in the name of combating what Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz called the “modern-day Gestapo” of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The latest claimant of this license is Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ), who was charged with assaulting, resisting, and impeding law enforcement officers during a protest at Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark, New Jersey.
McIver is shown on video forcing her way into the facility and striking and shoving agents in her path. Elected officials joined a mob in briefly overwhelming security and breaching the fence barrier after a bus was allowed through the entrance. Federal officials were able to quickly force back the incursion.
McIver and House Democrats insisted that McIver forcing her way into the facility might be trespass and assault for other citizens, but she was merely exercising “legislative oversight.”
The problem with the oversight claim is that McIver’s status as a member of Congress does not allow her access to closed federal facilities. Congress can subpoena the executive branch or secure court orders for access. However, members do not have immunity from criminal laws in unilaterally forcing their way into any federal office or agency.

Supreme Court Orders Maine House to Restore Vote of Lawmaker Censured over Post Criticizing Trans Athlete
QUOTE: The Supreme Court ordered the Maine House of Representatives on Tuesday to restore the vote of a Republican lawmaker who was censured after she wrote an online post defending fairness in women’s sports and criticizing the intrusion of a trans-identifying male athlete into female competition.
Maine Representative Laurel Libby filed the emergency appeal to the Supreme Court while a lawsuit over the social media post plays out. In the post written earlier this year, Libby criticized a male high school athlete who won a girls’ track meet, and included in the post the male student’s name.
The Democrat-controlled Maine House decided that Libby’s post violated ethics in identifying the student, and when she chose not to apologize, Libby was subsequently banned from speaking and voting on the House floor.
Supreme Court justices sided with Libby 7-2 with Associate Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson dissenting.
“The U.S. Supreme Court just restored the voice of 9,000 Mainers!” Libby said on X. “After 2+ months of being silenced for speaking up for Maine girls, I can once again vote on behalf of the people of House District 90. This is a win for free speech — and for the Constitution.”
Libby’s viral post set the scene for a contentious debate about gender in Maine.
7- Taking sugary, junk food out of a taxpayer funded nutrition program makes sense. Right? It has been heavily lobbied against by Big Sugar and Big Soda.
It is promising that there are some states with the courage to follow common sense health ideas.
Nebraska banning soda, energy drinks from SNAP under first federal waiver
QUOTE: Nebraska has received the first federal waiver to ban soda and energy drinks from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly known as food stamps.
The move is set to take effect on Jan. 1 as a part of a broader effort to restrict taxpayer dollars from contributing to the purchase of sugary drinks and junk food under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
“SNAP is about helping families in need get healthy food into their diets, but there’s nothing nutritious about the junk we’re removing with today’s waiver,” Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen (R) said in a Monday press release.
Governors in Iowa, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, West Virginia and Colorado are also considering similar changes to SNAP benefits.
Program funds are supplied by the USDA and administered individually by states. Recipients right now are able to buy anything except alcohol, tobacco and hot foods.
Researchers have long argued that SNAP restrictions are unlikely to change eating patterns, and that it will be costly for the federal government to track 650,000 food and beverage products on the market and 20,000 new products introduced annually, according to economic policy researcher Diane Whitmore Schanzenbach’s 2017 testimony before the House Committee on Agriculture.
“The complexity is multiplied because there is no clear standard for defining foods as ‘healthy’ or ‘unhealthy,’ or as luxury goods. Creating such standards would be difficult at best, and would entail substantial administrative costs to categorize and track the nutritional profile of each good to produce a SNAP-eligible foods list,” she told lawmakers.
“The list would have to be maintained continuously and communicated to retailers and consumers in real time.”
However, Trump administration officials say Nebraska’s new initiative falls in line with the “Make America Healthy Again” agenda of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has largely focused on eliminating disease through food consumption since his confirmation.
“The one place that I would say that we need to really change policy is the SNAP program and food stamps and in school lunches,” Kennedy said in February on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle.”
“There, the federal government in many cases is paying for it. And we shouldn’t be subsidizing people to eat poison,” he added.
Prediabetes now affects 1 in 3 children aged 12-19, while 40 percent of school-aged children and adolescents have at least one chronic condition, according to the USDA.

U.S. Economic Activity Picks Up in May, Defying Expectations
QUOTE: U.S. business activity accelerated in May at the fastest pace since March, according to S&P Global’s flash purchasing managers’ index, offering a stronger-than-expected signal that the economy remains resilient despite headwinds from tariffs and high interest rates.
“The upturn in demand suggests the economy has more momentum than anticipated,” said Chris Williamson, chief business economist at S&P Global. “Output growth has picked up from April’s recent low, which had seen the weakest rise in over one-and-a-half years.”
Stronger domestic demand drove the improvement, with new orders in the manufacturing sector rising at the fastest pace in 15 months. Service sector activity also gained ground, rebounding from April’s 17-month low. Export orders, however, continued to decline—especially in services, where foreign demand fell at the sharpest rate since early 2020.
But the report also contained warning signs. Prices charged for goods and services rose at their fastest pace since August 2022, fueled by tariff-related cost increases and supplier pass-throughs. Manufacturers stockpiled inputs at a record pace, bracing for future disruptions once the current 90-day tariff pause expires in July.
